Low Calorie Vegetarian Recipes

Delicious, nourishing and pretty easy

The low calorie vegetarian recipes here are fairly quick and easy to prepare. The recipes allow you to create healthy meals that are low in fat, low in sugar and with ingredients that you’ll use often.

This site has a great range of recipes and recipe ideas. They’re great because they’re:

  • simple – food that doesn’t need hours of preparation or lots of fiddling about
  • quick – many dishes can be made in 30 minutes or less
  • delicious – well, your meal will be (not the recipe)!
  • low calorie or low fat - no trans fats, just good oils and light dairy
  • and healthy - and that’s great because you'll feel better

Not only are there great recipes, but there are tips:

Try these low calorie vegetarian recipes

For breakfast try Fruit Bread and Berries or Asparagus and Avocado on Sourdough.

Then at lunch, have a LIGHT Miso and TOFU Broth with a nutritious and delicious Brown Rice Salad.

Then for dinner (tea in some countries), try easy to make Spaghetti with Zucchini and Mint, with a salad of baby spinach leaves. Finish up with a satisfying Apple Crumble.
